After Jesse responded you our post for someone to build us an around the bed unit, he came over to discuss detail and take measurements so he could make scale drawings. We were then invited to Jesse’s workshop where we discussed the finer details. Jesse is very good at offering advice and suggestions. For instance he added a fine strip of Mahogony to trim our wardrobes which enhanced the style beautifully.
All through the building process Jesse kept us up to date with his progress.
Then when it was safe to do so (Covid), Jesse came to install our beautiful, hand built from scratch, unique units.
After only two days the work was completed to the highest standard with minimum fuss.
Jesse has a real passion for his craft and his skills are evident in the final result.

"I choose Jesse from the 3 carpenters on here who applied for my project and I'm really glad I did.
He was the 3rd to come round for a chat but right from the start he has been a delight to work with; polite, helpful, empathic and works really hard to get the design and build perfect allowing me to have exactly what I wanted.
My project was pretty challenging, a bespoke wardrobe with draws, shelves and cupboards to fit a wall between the window and airing cupboard, made trickier because the roof sloped down towards the window.
Jesse measured carefully and drew up some nice plans. He used birch & plywood which is lovely; light, thick and strong with a faint grain, perfect for a small double room alcove plus he gave me a choice of knobs!
It took him a month to make in his workshop with 2.5 days to fit in the room but he updated us all the way through and invited us to his workshop a few days before he reached the installation stage.
I'm absolutely over the moon with the finish and would absolutely recommend Jesse for any woodwork projects you have, I'd definitely use him again myself.
